Andy was born and raised in the county of Washington, more commonly known as "South County," along the Rhode Island coast of New England.     A small town boy with big city dreams, Andy found pleasure and interest by making play and mixing the eccentricities of nature with the ingenuities of a creative lineage.

His mother an artist and his father a craftsman, Andy derives from a heritage of performers, musicians and creative’s leading back to the days of Vaudeville and honky-tonk.  As a musician, Andy gained a knowledge and respect for all music types and genres, which lead him to discover an education in radio at the New England Institute of Art in Boston from which he is an alumnus.

During this time Andy was also gaining a valued education throughout the nightlife and events circuit across New England, New York, and Miami as a DJ and promoter- including all other tasks within the industry—

“I started working in nightclubs at age 20 as wait staff and bar back with the goal of becoming a resident DJ.  I somehow ended up taking on every position available over the course of 10 years- from dishwasher to super-promoter- I’ve done a lot.” ~a.m.

Continuing on a trend of creative-communications, at the age of 24 Andy became a leading figure throughout the Northeast as a visual marketing manager for the retailer Abercrombie and Fitch Co.  He then soon realized a change of pace and began a 15-month work / internship within the Brown University Alumni Association as an editorial associate and social networking consultant.

While at Brown, Andy was enrolled in the Communication Studies program at the University of Rhode Island where in 2008 he received his bachelors.  The following December Andy made the pilgrimage to New York City.

Unfortunately, in late February of 2009 Andy and his family lost his mother to a long fought battle with a rare bone marrow condition and advanced Ureteral cancer-- just three years after the unexpected passing of his father.  Andy has since relocated back to the hometown whence he came and is currently working on several projects including radioprov.com- an internet radio broadcast, and is hosting weekly nightlife events in Newport and in Providence, Rhode Island.
